The main goal for our breeding program is to breed for outstanding temperament health and versatility. All our breeding stock are DNA tested for CEA/CL. Puppies bred under the Haulton Kennel name are suitable for Working, Agility, Obedience, Conformation or just as a your next best friend. All our puppies are raised in a family environment. And so are well socialized with Children and other dogs. The whole Family enjoy Agility and Obedience Even Our Daughter Jessica is currently working with Abbie. Kayne our youngest son has a very special bond with Missy and cant wait till the day he is old enough to do more with her. In 2004 we happened across an advertisement for a chocolate puppy for sale, That puppy was Abbie. Before she arrived on the plane from nelson neither of us had seen a Chocolate border collie face to face, we had read about them and seen them on the internet. This is where our fantastic frendship with Sharon Banks from Kaeanda Border Collies was formed and we have since purchased Lexi and Zoe to add to our kennels.
